A musical meditation created in collaboration with artist Dawn Ng. A live choral piece unfolds in harmony with a timelapse film from Dawn’s most recent body of work, documenting the start-to-finish disintegration of a large block of frozen pigment from monumentality to nothingness. Each singer moves through the music to the rhythm of their own breathing patterns, one bar of music for every exhale.

A ritual exploring the body as a site of existential revelation and the voice as a form of oracular sacred technology. Collaborators include photographer and designer Clare Park, movement director and dancer Debbie Green, and composer Alex Mills.

A revisionist and re-vitalising approach to music of the Western Classical music canon, beginning with Johannes Brahms ‘Four Serious Songs’. Music & Being will create interdisciplinary recording projects with with the aim of engendering truthful conversations with noted works of the past, whilst in turn offering unapologetically raw responses to the experiential and visceral crux of what it means to ask some of life’s most difficult questions.
